Oregon Block: Video Brief

Shot at the Oregon Block plant, Prineville, Oregon. Three deliverables from one day and a half of coverage.

Deliverables

Process film

Chronological. Raw material to the truck pulling out. Ends at the plant, no finished wall at the end.

Sound. Built on the factory audio recorded on camera. That is the spine, not a bed under it. Cut to the press cycle. Add music only if the plant audio fails on its own.

No voiceover. No on screen text. The audience is hardscape trade and knows what it is looking at.

It has to work muted. It plays on a trade show loop, so the version people stand and watch has no sound. Same cut everywhere, no separate booth version.

1. Facility exterior and raw material yard. Drone and handheld

2. Loading the hopper. Low handheld, overhead drone

3. Hopper onto the conveyor

4. Mixing

5. Press

6. Racking

7. Forklift transport

8. Curing

9. Splitting

Workers. The general work footage is connective tissue between machine steps. Break up the machine sequence with it rather than grouping it as its own section.

Vertical cutdown

Same arc, compressed. Use the vertical phone footage where it holds up and reframe the camera footage where it does not.

Must read muted. Social autoplays silent.

Short clips

One moment each, no arc. Best candidates:

• Splitter

• Cuber clamp

• Wrapping

• Trailer pulling out

Loop cleanly where the footage allows.

Agree the end card hierarchy before the first cut. Three way brand approval is the single most likely thing to delay delivery.
